SHORT TERM - TEMPORARY POSITION

About the Role:

The Bellman plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression for guests at hotels and similar establishments. This position is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, guiding them to their rooms, and providing information about the hotel's amenities and local attractions. The Bellman ensures that guests' arrivals and departures are smooth and efficient, contributing significantly to overall guest satisfaction. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to anticipating guest needs. Ultimately, the Bellman supports the hotel's reputation by delivering courteous, professional, and attentive service at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage safely and efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Knowledge of local area attractions and transportation options.
  • Basic proficiency in a second language.
  • Certification in hospitality or customer service training programs.
  • Familiarity with safety and security procedures related to guest services.

Responsibilities:
