POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bellman at Historic Hotel Bethlehem:

    Our bellman are the first impression that our guests receive when they arrive at the hotel and the last impression as they depart  You will have the opportunity to greet the guests, assist with luggage, amenity deliveries, package deliveries and share the hotel and historic district information.  Our bellman also provide shuttle service for our guests,  Ensuring a proper welcome and securing proper parking is key to the beginning of a successful stay.

    If you like a faced paced, high end, team oriented culture, then this is the position that you have been looking for.

    COMPENSATION:

    $16-$20 per hour


    SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Strong customer service orientation

    • Strong communication skills

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Applicants must have the physical capability to lift, push or pull at least 30-50 pounds. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, and to reach and stretch, bend, kneel and squat.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid Pennsylvania drivers license is helpful
    • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in English.
    • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
