About the role
Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking an inspired and discerning Guest Experience Manager to oversee the concierge function and create thoughtful, memorable experiences for our guests.
Equal parts host, curator, connector, and concierge, this highly visible leader serves as a key presence in the lobby-welcoming guests, anticipating needs, coordinating special requests, and ensuring each interaction reflects the spirit of Bardo. The Guest Experience Manager also leads planning for VIPs and notable guests, partnering across departments to deliver experiences that feel personal, considered, and seamless.
This is an onsite position at Hotel Bardo Savannah.
What you'll do
  • Lead and support the hotel's concierge function
  • Maintain a visible and engaging presence in the lobby, welcoming guests, providing direction, and assisting with requests
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for VIPs and notable guests from pre-arrival through departure
  • Coordinate special requests, custom itineraries, amenities, celebrations, and surprise-and-delight touches
  • Review guest profiles, preferences, and arrival details to ensure thoughtful preparation and follow-through
  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of Savannah dining, culture, events, and experiences
  • Partner with Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Handle complex guest needs and service recovery with discretion, empathy, and ownership
  • Represent the hotel with confidence, warmth, and professionalism when engaging with high-profile guests, media, and partners
  • Perform additional duties based on business needs

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a guest-facing hospitality leadership role, ideally within a luxury or lifestyle hotel
  • Polished and confident presence with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence and a solutions-oriented approach to guest service
  • Ability to anticipate needs, manage detailed requests, and maintain discretion
  • Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to influence service delivery across departments
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on guest and business needs
