Kennel Manager

$17.50 per hour pay rate

Our goal at Pet Tree Corners is to offer a fun and relaxing environment to our furry guests. We have served the Peachtree Corners community for over 10 years. Our family-owned pet hotel needs a responsible individual to help manage our wonderful pet hotel and spa.

We are seeking a Pet Hotel (Boarding & Kennel) Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming the animals
  • Assist in restraining animals for veterinary management
  • Oversee record keeping of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
  • Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment 
  • Manage a small team of caretakers and assist with the training of employees
  • Work with pet-hotel supervisors to ensure protocols are being followed and staff have the support needed to execute daily tasks
  • Review boarding reservations and have great client communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
  • Able to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 7am-6pm
  • Passion to help and treat animals
  • Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Previous management experience preferred
