Job description

Do you enjoy spending time with dogs and cats as much as humans (if not more)? Wag Hotels is the place to be if you are a pet lover looking for an entry-level position to help further your career in the animal industry! Here you will get to care for all the animals in our facility: the cuddly mastiffs, the spunky chihuahuas, playful kittens, and every pet in between.

Everyone who works with us gets to enjoy the pleasure of bringing in their pets to play for free while they're working - no more guilty looks when you leave for the day. Let your furry friend take advantage of our state-of-the-art facility, play in all-day play plus, make new friends, and have your baby going home tired, happy, and feeling loved. If you love spoiling your pets, you'll love taking advantage of our employee discount on toys, treats, leashes, and so much more!

Our mission is to provide the highest level of fun, safety, and comfort to our four-legged guests, as well as world-class service and convenience to their pet parents! If you feel you would be a great addition to our growing team, then apply with us today.

Whether you are checking in guests at the front desk, supervising playtime, or booking reservations in our corporate office, you'll feel rewarded knowing that you're making Wag Hotels the #1 destination for pet parents looking for a home-away-from-home for their beloved furry family members.

We are seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join our professional team!! As an Overnight Team Member, you will be responsible for providing the highest quality of care to all our four-legged guests! Using a combination of state-of-the-art equipment and eco-friendly chemicals, you will be responsible for maintaining industry-leading cleaning and sanitizing standards. Additionally, you will ensure all our guests receive meals, medications, and love! We offer a friendly, welcoming, work environment and a strong team of passionate dog lovers! We are seeking reliable individuals that have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and a willingness to roll up the sleeves and get dirty!

This is an entry-level position, with an opportunity for growth! It requires comfort with all sizes and breeds of dogs. The position is physically demanding and requires you to be on your feet for long periods of time. Our overnight team members play a crucial role in our hotel operations. Each night, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility is clean and ready for the next day's operational routine. You will be cleaning dishes, doing the laundry, and cleaning and sanitizing boarding rooms. Additionally, you will ensure all our guests are in the correct rooms and accounted for.

Because we are a 24-hour facility, this position also requires cross-training in our customer service department. You will also be responsible for providing the highest quality of customer service, maintaining open lines of communication between departments and clients, and cultivating medical and behavioral records of all guests using our online database. In addition, you would be managing guest check-ins/check-outs, processing online reservations, and responding to all client inquiries via email, over the phone, or face to face. A successful candidate will be a significant dog lover, pay excellent attention to detail, set and maintain high standards for sanitation and cleanliness, have the exceptional ability to multitask, time manage, and adapt to change.
