Familiarity with grain handling equipment, PLC controls, and safety regulations is typically required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help technicians address issues efficiently and work well with farmers and team members. Collaborating closely with operations, logistics, and quality control teams also helps ensure smooth workflow and minimizes downtime.

What are grain systems?

Grain systems refer to the equipment, structures, and processes used to handle, store, dry, and transport grain crops such as corn, wheat, and soybeans. These systems can include grain bins, elevators, conveyors, dryers, and monitoring technologies that help maintain grain quality and prevent spoilage. Grain systems are essential for efficient post-harvest management, ensuring that grains are safely stored and easily moved from farms to markets. They are commonly used in agricultural operations, grain handling facilities, and commercial grain storage businesses.
