Position Summary:

Cutting, Dumping, and Stacking bags weighing up to 55.1lbs. Carrying and moving bags with a two-wheel cart and forklift. Weighing micro ingredients for specific batches. Ensure the correct ingredients are added to the specific batches. Housekeeping.

Essential Functions:

  • Cutting and dumping bags into the mixer
  • Verifying the correct bags are dumped into the specific batch.
  • Stacking and marking bags so they are easily identifiable.
  • Weighing and marking micro ingredients for specific batches
  • Ordering and maintaining bagged inventory for mixing
  • Maintaining micro scale bin levels
  • General housekeeping.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Being proficient in basic mathematics
  • Must work closely with feed mill manager, mill lead operator, mill personnel, and quality control. Additional interactions with fleet manager, office personnel, and maintenance personnel.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Experience:

  • Entry level
  • Agriculture knowledge preferred

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring the manufacture of quality products.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, lift and carry 50 pounds, and wear necessary PPE.
  • Considerable physical exertion
