General Description
The purpose of this position is to assist in the daily administrative operations of the Grainger Community Counseling & Wellness Clinic.
Essential Job Duties
  • Assist with day-to-day clinic operations, including greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, responding to emails, and maintaining client records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Maintain inventory and organization of clinical supplies, therapy materials, and office equipment.
  • Promote a welcoming and professional environment for clients and student counselors.
  • Maintain clean therapeutic environment by assisting with light cleaning in the clinic.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards related to client confidentiality and data security.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Counselor Education faculty.
  • Maintain the social media pages for the clinic.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree. Enrollment in a UM graduate degree program
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical judgment.
  • Ability to work both in a team setting and independently.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, social media, and digital systems.
