General DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to assist in the daily administrative operations of the Grainger Community Counseling & Wellness Clinic.
Essential Job Duties - Assist with day-to-day clinic operations, including greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, responding to emails, and maintaining client records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Maintain inventory and organization of clinical supplies, therapy materials, and office equipment.
- Promote a welcoming and professional environment for clients and student counselors.
- Maintain clean therapeutic environment by assisting with light cleaning in the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards related to client confidentiality and data security.
- Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Counselor Education faculty.
- Maintain the social media pages for the clinic.
Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree. Enrollment in a UM graduate degree program
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical judgment.
- Ability to work both in a team setting and independently.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, social media, and digital systems.
- Interest in community mental health and administrative work.
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional and collegial attitude at all times.
- Ability to maintain a clean working environment and perform basic cleaning duties (i.e., dusting, vacuuming, taking out trash, etc.).
