As a Designer I, you'll join our growing civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in producing high-quality civil engineering designs and construction plans under the guidance of experienced engineers. This role offers exposure to a wide range of civil projects, from site development to infrastructure improvements
Job Responsibilities:
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create engineered construction plans and sheet setups, including plan views, sections, elevations, and details.
  • Work closely with civil engineers to interpret design intent and translate it into accurate CAD drawings.
  • Assist in generating exhibits and plans for grading, drainage, road design, and erosion control.
  • Follow internal and client standards and procedures for drafting and design.
  • Evaluate design alternatives for constructability, code compliance, and site challenges.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Position Requirements:
  • A high school diploma is required, along with completion of an Autodesk AutoCAD certification program or equivalent drafting experience. An associate or technical degree in CAD, civil engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
  •  0-2 years of experience in civil design or drafting.
