About the Role

As the Product Marketing Manager, GovTech, you will be responsible for building foundational messaging, ABM content, and field marketing activations to attract more customers across all branches of the government. You will be an essential part of the overall Verkada for Government team, which operates as a standalone business unit with dedicated engineers, sales reps, and field marketers. If you are successful in this role, your contributions will directly result in millions of dollars in pipeline to our federal and state business.  This role will report into our Sr. Manager, Product Marketing.

The ideal candidate for this role is either a product marketer, content marketer looking to transition to product marketing, or management consultant looking to pivot into a GTM role at a fast-growing tech company.

We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our office in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the messaging and positioning for our government segment - creating the narrative across Verkada's external surfaces including the website, sales pitch, one-pagers, events, webinars, etc.
  • Launch new government-grade products, working closely with the Product and Engineering teams
  • Create content that speaks to the government segment, including customer stories, ABM direct mail assets, brochures, videos, landing pages, etc.
  • Work closely with our Federal and State AEs on tactical deal support, including the creation of custom slides, one-sheeters, and other materials to move strategic deals forward
What You Bring
  • 2-4 years of product marketing or content marketing experience at a B2B technology company, or prior management consulting experience
  • Strong ability to write for various audiences, including technical content
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Creative
  • Willingness to travel domestically for events and conferences
  • Bachelor's required
