Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed company building financial software for the public sector — helping finance and treasury teams at local governments handle reconciliation, reporting, cash-flow forecasting, and AI-driven financial insights. They're already live with their first government customers and scaling their footprint across California and the Western US, with a mission of making public money work harder for the agencies that manage it.

The RoleThis is one of the first two seats on the sales team. You'll work directly with the head of go-to-market to build the outbound engine from the ground up — cold calls, email, and LinkedIn — generating qualified meetings with finance and treasury leaders at local government agencies. There's a clear, performance-based path into an account executive seat for whoever earns it, tied to results rather than tenure.
What you'll be doing
Tech stack: CRM and outbound sales tooling.
