STEM School Highlands Ranch is seeking a temporary employee to provide dedicated individual student support. This position is week-to-week and may be up to 40 hours per week, depending on ongoing need.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, compassionate individual support to ensure student safety and engagement throughout the school day.

Support the student's participation in classroom activities, transitions, and common areas.

Collaborate with teachers, student support teams, and administrators.

Follow school policies, confidentiality standards, and directions from staff.

Perform other tasks as assigned to support school operations.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to pass a criminal background check

Strong commitment to student learning and development

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsive and proactive communication with students and faculty

Experience working in a diverse, fast-paced, and collaborative environment preferred

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting of 5 to 50 pounds

Ability to stand/walk for up to 90 minutes

Ability to run short distances if necessary

Frequent bending, stooping, standing, walking, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, and sitting
