Job description

Avionics Repair Order Manager

This position oversees the life cycle of a repair order from purchase order placement to order closure in the applicable systems. This position creates quotes and sales orders, accurately reflecting customer purchase order requirements, in the SAP Sales & Distribution module. Managing ongoing changes to SAP sales orders, monitoring inventory and billing reports and taking appropriate action is also performed. Regular communication with external and internal customers is necessary. Actions directly impact sales, profit, and on-time delivery performance.

The hours for this position will be: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.

What You Will Do:
  • Demonstrates proficiency with tools, systems, procedures and processes required to create complex orders. May identify trends, analyze problems and suggest alternatives for assigned tasks.
  • Monitors inventory to maximize sales and ensures customer order requirements are met, manually creating delivery documents as appropriate.
  • Monitors order execution by consulting with appropriate internal counterparts to ensure sales goals are achieved.
  • Identify SAP Sales Order Set up processes and constraints to implementing and performing on customer contracts. Can make recommendations to finding necessary alternative sales order set up methods.
  • Creates, submits and monitors US Government receiving reports and invoices. With assistance, addresses U.S. Government portal issues.
  • Performs and assists with special projects as required.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with government contracts and contract reviews. Able to provide recommendations or alternatives when it comes to negotiating acceptable terms and conditions.
  • Develops and tests new or moderately difficult order administration processes.
  • Creates, updates, archives order and customer files, as required.
  • Demonstrates proficient ability to use SAP reporting tools to create reports to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous customer service experience is required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience reading and interpreting contracts/warranty documents.
  • Experience reviewing and approving customer purchase orders.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
