Primary Role
The Washington Learning Academy Secondary Teacher facilitates academic and personal growth for students enrolled in the alternative program. This role combines online learning through Edmentum with small group instruction, progress monitoring, and individualized goal setting. The Teacher serves as a mentor, supporting students in building accountability and re-engaging with their education. By fostering relationships, tracking progress, and providing targeted instruction, the Secondary Teacher helps students succeed both academically and personally.
