The expected pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead Workday implementations, optimization initiatives, and client projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of project management experience with a proven ability to manage project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and deliver successful client outcomes.
This role is responsible for overseeing project execution from initiation through go-live and post-production support. The Project Manager will partner closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role offers the opportunity to help establish delivery standards, develop scalable processes, and contribute to the continued growth of Makse Group's Workday consulting practice globally.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday implementations, enhancements, and optimization projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, resource allocations, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate project activities across functional, technical, integration, testing, and change management workstreams.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with clients to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and expectations.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address potential challenges.
  • Support resource planning and coordination across consulting teams in the U.S. and India.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure project deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Support change management and organizational readiness activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Assist with post-go-live stabilization, knowledge transfer, and transition to support teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote project management best practices across the organization.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, consulting delivery, or enterprise technology implementations.
  • Experience managing Workday implementations, ERP projects, or other enterprise software deployments preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Experience working directly with client teams and managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance, and delivery best practices.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with distributed and global delivery teams is preferred.

Certifications & Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience managing enterprise technology or Workday-related projects.
  • Workday Project Manager Certification.

Preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
  • Experience supporting Workday implementations across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Financials, or related modules.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools.
  • Strong understanding of project reporting, project metrics, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Ability to analyze project performance data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Familiarity with process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
