Tax Analyst
Location: Lake Mary, FL  32746
Duration: 5 months with potential extensions.
 
Working Model: Hybrid, 3 days in office and 2 days Remote.
 
 This position offers exposure to large-scale, multistate tax operations, hands-on process ownership, and a pathway to advance your expertise in payroll tax systems and AI-enhanced compliance tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management of payroll tax remittances, SUI rate administration, and periodic reporting to ensure accuracy and mitigate tax risk.
- Analyze and address third-party vendor inquiries, including fact-finding, account closures, and rate adjustments with state agencies.
- Procure and validate SUI rates for release cycles; conduct research to resolve outstanding Protest Rate balances and leverage amnesty windows for savings.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Three or more years of relevant work experience in multistate tax and large-scale tax system environments.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred 
- Certification: CPP or FPC.
- Experience with Workday, ADP, HCM PeopleSoft.
- Advanced skills in data analysis, research, and critical thinking.
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation in payroll tax processes.
