Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a part-time Utility Cleaner/Dishwasher at our Commissary Kitchen/Distribution Center in Downingtown!
Schedule: Part-time up to 24 hours: Flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends are required.
Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older.
Location: Kimberton Whole Foods Distribution Center/Commissary Kitchen
The location listed for this position is not the Downingtown retail store location. This is the KWF Distribution Center/Commissary Kitchen . Please see the address listed below.

Hourly Pay: $15.00-17.00 depending on experience
Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.
**Please note: Kimberton Whole Foods does not hire seasonally or for periods of less than one year.**
Daily Operations:
  • Wash sheet pans, pots, pans, food storage containers and lids, utensils and silverware
  • Maintain cleanliness of dish station and three compartment sink area
  • Test and record sanitizer concentration levels
  • Deep clean all equipment to include: ovens, cook tops, reach in refrigerators, walk-in refrigerators, workstations, cooking racks, tables and hot cook line per weekly and daily cleaning lists or as assigned by Commissary Manager or Kitchen Supervisor.
  • Sweep and mop the kitchen floor, clean all common areas and bathrooms.
  • Empty kitchen and building trash and recycling items and dispose in appropriate dumpsters, clean kitchen waste containers.
  • Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for cooking.
  • Packaging prepared foods, wraps, soups, and salad dressings
  • Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cooks with needed items

Requirements
Physical Capabilities:
  • Full Sense Range (Vision, Hearing, and Sense of Smell) - the ability to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.
  • Lifting, Gripping and Carrying Objects - Up to 50 to 75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
  • Stooping, Squatting, and Kneeling - Stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
  • Walking - Short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
  • Standing - Prolonged standing.
  • Work Environment - Movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking/standing) rather than sedentary (sitting).
  • Climate - Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis. Ability to work in a hot environment seasonally.
