Job description

Job Description:

  • Possess 14-16 years of extensive and progressive experience in technical solution sales, particularly within the enterprise cloud computing domain, demonstrating a consistent track record of driving significant business growth and strategic client engagements.
  • This role operates under a hybrid work model, requiring a balanced presence in the Santa Clara office at times for collaborative sessions and client engagements, combined with flexible remote work arrangements.

Required Skills:

  • Must possess advanced, hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services, including comprehensive knowledge of its compute, networking, storage, database, and security offerings, to architect and sell complex solutions.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS), encompassing a deep understanding of its core services, infrastructure as code, and migration strategies, essential for multi-cloud solution design and client advisory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and foundational concepts, enabling discussions around multi-cloud strategies and competitive positioning within diverse client environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of Google Cloud technical solution sales initiatives across multiple client accounts.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced cloud technologies by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive sales strategies.

  • Develop and nurture high-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations to identify new opportunities and expand market share.
  • Architect innovative and scalable cloud solutions leveraging Google Cloud capabilities, addressing intricate client challenges and driving measurable business value.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales and technical specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in cloud solution delivery.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform strategic planning and position offerings effectively within the cloud ecosystem.
  • Ensure operational excellence in sales processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, and adherence to sales targets and organizational KPIs.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to influence future cloud service offerings based on market demand and client feedback.
  • Champion best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance within proposed solutions, ensuring robust and resilient client environments.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and enablement sessions for internal teams on emerging Google Cloud features and solution architectures

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required; demonstrated commercial impact outweighs academic credentials for this role

This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
