About the role

Rubrik Professional Services is looking for a high-energy, strategic, and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise customer implementations and help shape the future of our delivery practice. In this role, you will be customer-facing, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure deployment success, business value realization, and operational efficiency.

Beyond managing high-stakes client engagements, you will serve as an expert in project management within the organization helping to mentor and coach other Project Managers and actively contributing to the development, refinement, and scaling of our PMO governance model, processes, and delivery frameworks.

What you'll do

As a Senior Project Manager in our PS Organization, you will drive impact across three core areas: Delivery Excellence, Leadership & Mentorship, and Practice Enablement.

1. Project & Client Delivery Excellence
  • Drive Complex Engagements: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, concurrent, enterprise-level customer projects from kickoff to sign-off within fast-paced environments.
  • Scope & Milestone Management: Prepare enterprise customers for deployment, establish clear success criteria, track deliverables, set targets, manage resources, and ensure project execution adheres to deadlines and budgets.
  • Risk & Issue Governance: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and technical dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the single point of contact and escalation owner for customer executives, cross-functional internal teams (Engineering, Customer Support, Sales, Technical Account Managers), and third-party partners.
  • Quality & Performance: Execute quality control throughout project lifecycles to ensure deliverables meet or exceed Rubrik's standards and customer business objectives.
2. PMO Governance & Process Optimization
  • PMO Governance: Partner with PS leadership to help build, refine, and maintain the PMO governance framework, including standard operating procedures, project methodologies, and key performance indicators.
  • Continuous Improvement: Audit project workflows and delivery tools to identify bottlenecks, driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Assist in establishing best practices for resource allocation, utilization tracking, and project health reporting across the PS portfolio.
3. Leadership & Mentorship
  • Coach & Mentor: Serve as a mentor to associate and mid-level PMs, providing guidance on client management, conflict resolution, scope control, and career growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Share best practices, templates, and lessons learned across the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
Experience & Qualifications you'll need Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of direct Project Management experience delivering customer-facing, enterprise technical projects within a Professional Services or Consulting organization.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Proven experience building or scaling PMO governance models supported by AI, standard delivery methodologies, and project health tracking processes.
  • Track record of managing multiple complex, high-visibility client engagements concurrently in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, and developing junior to mid-level project managers.
  • Expert knowledge of modern project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Asana) as well as Google Workspace.
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
  • Technical Background: Prior hands-on experience or foundational knowledge in Data Management, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), Data Protection, Enterprise Storage, Cybersecurity, or SaaS delivery is a strong plus.
  • Additional certifications such as Agile/Scrum (CSM, PMI-ACP) , ITIL , or Prosci Change Management .
  • Strong financial acumen regarding professional services metrics (e.g., revenue recognition, margin, utilization, project profitability).

$140,000—$210,100 USD
