About University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB

(This is not a state position)

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

Position Summary

Temporary, Staff, Non-Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 6/30/2027 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance). 

Salary: $4,800.00-$5,600.00 per month.

Location: CSUSB Campus.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week. Typically, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some nights and weekends required.

First Review Deadline

This position will remain open until filled. 

Typical Activities

Under minimal supervision of the Director of College Corps, the Program Coordinator will work independently to:

  • Recruitment, training, evaluation, and oversight of 75 Fellows per year.
  • Coordination of Fellow networking and engagement opportunities.
  • Work with the Program Administrative Coordinator to ensure that Fellow files including application, training records, time management, evaluation, monthly reflections, and other documents are kept up to date.
  • Support with the recruitment, development, and cultivation of community partnerships, including the identification of/ and coordination with host sites.
  • Support with data collection and completion of all reports in accordance with data collection and completion of all reports in accordance with funding agency requirement.
  • Program Coordinator ensures all project records are accurately maintained, reported, and organized.
  • Actively participates in staff and regional consortium meetings, retreats, and professional development conferences.
  • Provides regular updates regarding the status of recruitment, placements, partnerships, and budget.
  • Travel throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience working in outreach and/or advising programs.
  • Other:
    • Applicants must have strong organizational, management, leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Applicants must have the ability to analyze problems and resolve conflicts.
    • Ability to establish rapport and positive working relationships with community partners, campus departments, faculty members, administrators, teachers, counselors, outreach staff, and Fellows.
    • Knowledge and proficiency in implementing and delivering services through hybrid formats (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
    • Proficiency in the use of distance/virtual learning/engagement platforms (i.e., Instagram Live, Facebook Live, etc.).
    • Knowledge and experience in online/hybrid pedagogy.
