Job Description
Perficient is seeking a growth-driven and commercially minded Google Alliance Partner to own and expand our strategic relationship with Google Cloud. This individual will be directly accountable for originating new business, building and converting joint pipeline, and accelerating revenue growth across Google's ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a hunter mentality, a strong understanding of Google's organizational structure and partner programs, and a proven track record of generating pipeline and facilitating deals through closure with alliance partnerships. Qualified candidates will reside near one of Perficient's existing offices.
Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Deal Origination:
  • Own a personal pipeline target for partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue through the Google alliance
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and originate new opportunities by leveraging Google relationships, account intelligence, and market insights
  • Develop and execute account-based strategies to penetrate new logos and expand existing accounts through joint Google motions
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of co-sell opportunities with clear progression through deal stages
  • Collaborate with Perficient account executives and Google sellers to advance and close joint opportunities

Strategic Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain high-impact relationships across Google sales, partner, and alliance teams with a focus on revenue-generating activity
  • Serve as the voice of Google within Perficient and represent Perficient's capabilities and differentiation within the Google ecosystem
  • Drive alignment of goals, priorities, and commercial targets across both organizations
  • Orchestrate executive-level engagement to unlock new business and accelerate deal velocity

Co-Sell & Go-to-Market Execution:
  • Lead co-sell pipeline development by aligning Perficient's offerings with Google Cloud solution areas and active customer pursuits
  • Partner directly with Google sellers to shape deal strategy, position joint value propositions, and close business
  • Drive joint account planning focused on net-new revenue, expansion, and consumption growth at priority accounts
  • Maximize participation in Google Partner Advantage, co-sell incentives, and partner-funded demand generation programs

AI-First Innovation & Solution Growth:
  • Identify revenue opportunities at the intersection of Perficient's AI-first strategy and Google Cloud AI, data, and analytics capabilities
  • Collaborate with solution architects and practice leaders to develop compelling joint offerings that win new business
  • Translate Google Cloud innovations into commercial positioning and pipeline-generating activities

Marketing, Enablement & Demand Generation:
  • Partner with marketing to develop pipeline-generating campaigns, events, and thought leadership aligned to Google priorities and active sales pursuits
  • Enable Perficient sellers with Google-specific messaging, competitive positioning, and co-sell playbooks
  • Drive internal readiness to ensure field teams can effectively identify and advance Google co-sell opportunities

Performance & Accountability:
  • Own and report on alliance revenue KPIs, including pipeline generated, pipeline converted, co-sell win rate, deal velocity, and partner-sourced bookings
  • Responsible for the strategy to elevate our partner status to the highest Google level available.
  • Responsible for creating and managing a Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Google. This includes tracking performance and making recommendations throughout the year to ensure targets are met.
  • Maintain a disciplined cadence of pipeline reviews, deal inspection, and forecast accuracy
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline health, deal progression, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Help to manage Perficient resource certification requirements for Google Cloud

Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years of experience in alliances, partner sales, business development, or enterprise technology sales, preferably within the Google Cloud ecosystem
  • Demonstrated track record of originating and closing deals through partner/alliance channels with measurable revenue impact
  • Strong understanding of Google Cloud's organizational structure, partner programs, co-sell motions, and incentive structures
  • Experience leading (not just supporting) co-sell initiatives and joint go-to-market execution with strategic partners
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to qualify opportunities, develop a deal strategy, and influence closing plans
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud technologies, including data, analytics, AI/ML, and application modernization capabilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a portfolio of deals and partnerships with rigor and follow-through
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders at both partner and client organizations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across technical and business audiences
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment, influence without direct authority, and mobilize internal resources to win
