JOB TITLE:  Administrative Clerk 1A - 10-Month
JOB PURPOSE:  Perform necessary functions to support student achievement and district operations
Job Description:





  1. Provide Customer Service:
    • Answer phones
    • Verify, screen and greet visitors; maintain visitor logs as necessary
    • Maintain/stock office machines
    • Accurately and promptly respond to requests for information/assistance; exercise professionalism, independent judgment and discretion with all stakeholders
  2. Maintain records and data necessary to operate in accordance with federal, state and district rules and regulations:
    • Accurately process forms and documents
    • Prepare and maintain organized files and paperwork
    • Enter absences and maintain student attendance records
    • May act as McKinney-Vento liaison to District Office
  3. Manage Department Finance:
    • May process financial transactions in Secretary's absence
  4. Provide Support:
    • Determine priorities and coordinate workload to meet schedules and deadlines
    • Collaborate to resolve team/task challenges and issues
    • Good attendance record
    • Communicate effectively with other staff, students, families and other departments/agencies
    • Distribute mail and documents
    • Compose and maintain correspondence and reports
    • Perform efficient distribution of supplies
    • May assist with substitute coverage
    • May assist with managing staff sign-in/out procedures and records
    • Assist with teacher/substitutes issues as needed
  5. Preserve confidentiality
    • Uphold stakeholder confidence and protect operations by keeping student, staff and district information confidential
    • Other duties as assigned
  6. Technical Literacy
    • Maintain updated user expertise for required applications, databases and office machines
    • Seek and attend opportunities to improve user proficiency
