Job description

Payroll Tax Analyst
Location: Hybrid role in Lake Mary, FL, 3 days per week on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and 2 days Remote.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and validate bi-weekly Executive Reports for on-cycle payroll processing, with primary activities on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
- Execute and ensure accuracy in weekly tax operation reports every Thursday
- Resolve outstanding items within the Return to Cash Log and address Tax Credits to maintain financial integrity
- Support special projects including retention of historical tax data and integration of credentials for Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activities
Required:
- At least three years of hands-on experience in multistate tax and large-scale payroll tax environments
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Strong ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
- Effective collaborator with proven autonomy and teamwork capabilities
- Skilled in building relationships across Payroll, Tax, and external agencies
Preferred
- Professional certification such as CPP or FPC
- Mastery in AI tools for data analysis and research
- Advanced analytical reasoning and critical thinking
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels
- Experience with Workday, ADP, HCM PeopleSoft
