Founding Growth & Brand Lead

Electric Air, Inc

Redwood City, CA โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 7 days ago

Job description

Electric Air is building a modern home climate company.
We install heat pumps across the Bay Area and have developed our own heat pump product platform, Redwood, designed around simpler retrofits, thoughtful design, and a better homeowner experience.
Electric Air combines:
  • real-world HVAC operations
  • product development
  • software and technology
  • design and branding
  • customer experience

We're growing quickly and looking for a Founding Growth & Brand Lead to help build the leading heat pump brand in the Bay Area.
This is a highly hands-on role for someone who combines:
  • strong growth instincts
  • excellent creative judgment
  • operational intensity
  • fast execution
  • deep curiosity about customers

You should be equally comfortable:
  • launching a Meta campaign
  • giving feedback on a landing page
  • coordinating a video shoot
  • improving attribution
  • organizing a homeowner event
  • reviewing install photos for quality and consistency

This is not a traditional corporate marketing role. We are looking for a builder.
What You'll Own
Growth & Acquisition
  • Manage and improve paid acquisition across Google, Meta, LSA, and other channels
  • Improve landing pages, conversion funnels, and attribution
  • Develop experiments to improve lead quality and customer acquisition cost
  • Work closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities and bottlenecks
Creative & Brand
  • Source and manage photographers, videographers, designers, freelancers, and agencies
  • Maintain a high bar for visual quality and brand consistency
  • Help shape the voice, positioning, and identity of Electric Air
  • Develop creative concepts for ads, videos, campaigns, social content, and physical-world branding
Website & Funnel Optimization
  • Own and improve the website experience
  • Create and iterate on landing pages
  • Improve top-of-funnel conversion and attribution systems
  • Work with engineers and contractors to ship quickly
Local Brand Presence
  • Help Electric Air become a recognized and trusted local brand
  • Support partnerships, events, workshops, and community presence
  • Develop systems for reviews, referrals, and neighborhood density
Content & Storytelling
  • Turn real installs and customer experiences into compelling marketing
  • Help communicate technical concepts simply and elegantly
  • Build systems for collecting photos, videos, testimonials, and install stories
What We're Looking For
You may not fit perfectly into a traditional marketing category. That's okay.
We care more about:
  • taste
  • judgment
  • speed
  • ownership
  • curiosity
  • adaptability

than polished corporate experience.
Ideal candidates often come from backgrounds like:
  • startups
  • consumer brands
  • growth roles
  • creative agencies
  • DTC
  • local service businesses
  • hospitality
  • independent creator/operator work
You Might Be a Fit If You:
  • Have strong opinions about what makes a brand feel premium, trustworthy, and modern
  • Can distinguish between tasteful marketing and generic contractor marketing
  • Are highly resourceful and comfortable working with constraints
  • Move quickly and enjoy shipping work
  • Can balance analytics with intuition
  • Are excited to work in the real world - homes, installs, neighborhoods, customers, trucks, events, photography, physical products
  • Are comfortable operating in ambiguity and building systems from scratch
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or local acquisition
  • Experience with conversion optimization and landing pages
  • Experience directing creative production
  • Experience with local SEO or home services
  • Experience working closely with founders or small teams
  • Strong writing instincts
