POSITION OVERVIEW

Manages and controls the operations of the store to ensure that company
standards and expectations are consistently met. Executes business plan and
associated programs that will deliver the desired sales and profit results,
while maintaining good quality customer service. Ensures a clean, neat, easy to shop
environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

Supervises and coaches retail and production associates in providing
efficient and friendly service at the registers, fitting rooms, sales floor,
donation area, etc.

Ensures merchandise is presented and organized utilizing Goodwill's
guidelines.

Maintains a high standard of house keeping with help of housekeeping
personnel and associates.

General Operating Requirements

Analyzes monthly store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and
overall store performance.

Addresses any variance to company standards with appropriate action plan.

Ensures proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives.

Organizational Development

Recruits, hires, trains and develops all store associates.

Ensure compliance of Goodwill's personnel policies and procedures.

Maintains adherence to company safety policies and ensures the safety of
Associates and Customers.

Expense Control

Assists in the management of and continuous monitoring of actual
expenditures to be within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent prefers some college level courses in
business or marketing.

3 or more years in retail sales with 3 year or more in a supervisory
capacity in a fast paced environment.

Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate
positively to store personnel at all levels.

Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals,
develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.

Must exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion.

Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings,
weekends and holidays.

Must be willing and able to travel to any location upon request
