We invite you to take the first step in making a difference by applying to a position with Goodwill. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for transporting donated goods, new goods, and target product. Starting Pay: * $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Medical * Dental * Vision * Life * 401k * *All employees are eligible for the RISE program at Goodwill.

RISE helps employees gain the skills they need for personal and career growth through career guidance, job training, and support for lifes challenges. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Delivers donations, equipment, supplies to Goodwill stores. Picks up salvage and trash from stores and brings it back to main plant. * Pick up donations from Attended Donation Centers. * Maintain daily log of activities. * Load and unload trucks. * Make special pickups on Saturday or Sunday. * Pick-up and delivery of interoffice correspondence between plant and stores. * Assist in production or warehousing when time allows. * Abide by the policies and procedures as set forth by management and of GICO. * Attend all trainings as necessary. * Reviews and is familiar with Goodwill Industries of Central OK safety policies, programs and procedures. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes, and attends safety training sessions and necessary safety meetings. * Consults with company drivers to ensure timeliness and route efficiency. * Punctual & dependable attendance. * Professional manner with customers, co-workers and public. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs other duties as required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This work is physical and requires the following physical activities: * Works 40-hour work week with variable hours and occasional overtime. * Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds. * Must be able to maneuver 200 to 900 pounds, pull utility carts on wheels on and off trucks. * Must be able to use a two-wheeler and pallet jack in loading and unloading truck. WORKING CONDITIONS: * Work in variable climate outside, including severe weather conditions. * Works in warehouse that may contain allergens such as dust and pollens. * Can be stressful in bad weather driving conditions. * Can be stressful driving busy times of the year due to work overload. QUALIFICATIONS: * High School degree or GED, preferred. * Previous driving experience, preferred. * Must be 21 years old. * Valid Class B CDL, required. * Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record. * Must be able to drive a standard (manual shift) truck. * Must pass driver assessment. * Ability to speak, read and write the English language. * Reliable transportation and communication, required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: * Clear communication skills with supervisor and store personnel, as well as with the public at times. * Ability to get along with helper and work well together and other co-workers.

Able to take orders and follow instructions from Supervisor. * Ability to read and complete paperwork. * Professional manner with customers, co-workers and public.
