Description
The position will require assisting management with daily golf operations including but not limited to, tracking play, protection of and controlling assets, supervising part time golf staff, assisting with all merchandising functions, assisting with tournaments, and participating in teaching lessons.
Summary of Duties
  • Provide customer service to all golf members and guests.
  • Control and manage play; ensure guest check-in and fee collection of all players.
  • Required knowledge of the following: current golf course conditions, playability of the golf course, course management advice, and other golf course related subjects
  • Assist with the total operation of the practice facility.
  • Support golf instruction and clinics.
  • Assist with merchandising.
  • Be informed on and promote all club activities and services.
  • Assist in managing tournaments and outings
  • Complete all operations job functions including duties of a Pro Shop Attendant, Guest Service Attendant, Housekeeper, Waitstaff, and Beverage Cart Attendant.
  • Always conduct oneself in a professional manner

Minimum Qualifications
Requires high school diploma, GED, and previous experience in the golf industry.
Candidate must enroll in the Qualifying Level of PGA or LPGA.
Supplemental Information
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demand refers to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.
Requires light to medium work involving standing or walking most of the time, exerting up to 20 pounds of force on a regular basis, and considerable skill, adeptness, and speed in the use of the fingers, hands, or limbs in tasks involving close tolerances.
