Set against the beautiful Santa Rosa Mountains and spread over 2,200 acres, this golferโ€™s paradise features nine iconic championship golf courses, five of which are open to the public, designed by Pete Dye, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Greg Norman, and Tom Weiskopf. Each course offers a distinctive layout and golf experience with multiple tee boxes for varying skill levels. PGA WEST is also home to the famed PGA WEST Golf Academy, immaculate practice facilities, five stunning clubhouses, multiple dining options, as well as a wide array of golf benefits, luxury amenities and social activities for Club Members. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Currently studying agronomy, turfgrass management or a similar degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

The golf course agronomy intern is responsible for learning the agronomics to produce playing conditions outlined in the courseโ€™s business plan. This person will help attract and develop talent at all levels of golf course maintenance to create a highly functional team. This individual will also focus on the business of agronomy, technology, continuing education and long term strategic planning.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-year turfgrass management experience required.
  • Currently learning about agronomy and turfgrass management practices with the ability to teach others.
  • A strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business.
  • Current (or ability to obtain) state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator.
