Premier Golf is a golf travel company located in Alpharetta, Georgia offering golf vacations & packages to a multitude of destinations both domestically and internationally. Since our inception in 1989 we have sent over 30,000 clients to the Ryder Cup and become a leader in international golf travel. With the recent investment from Your Golf Travel, a UK based company, we are looking to expand our products and events and most importantly our team.
We are looking to hire enthusiastic, customer service driven individuals to be a part of this dynamic company.
PGA Relationship Consultant will possess a strong understanding of the role of the PGA Professional within private clubs and the broader golf industry. Candidates should have prior golf industry experience and knowledge of current industry trends and member engagement. The Individual will understand the responsibilities and influence of PGA Professional and effectively communicate the value and benefits of club golf travel experiences.
The ability to build trusted relationships with PGA Professionals, club leaders and high-net-worth members/individuals regarding premium golf travel experiences.
Strong networking, relationship management, event engagement and consultative communication skills are essential to successfully grow partnerships and expand brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, grow and develop relationship to expand Premier Golf -PGA Professionals Travel brand throughout the golf industry network within the assigned region
  • Identify, qualify, recruit and engage PGA Professionals for participation in travel experience for them, their clubs and their members
  • Help create and coordinate Premier Golf events for PGA Professionals, including golf outings, networking dinners and hospitality events
  • Conduct in-person visits with PGA Professionals and their clubs to promote travel opportunities and strengthen relationships
  • Attend and represent Premier Golf at industry partnership events
  • Identify sales opportunities, generate qualified leads, and collaborate with the sales team on follow-up and conversion efforts.
  • Dealing with a high volume of inquiries on a daily basis, making a high volume of outbound calls per day while dealing with incoming calls and scheduled callbacks.
  • Building rapport with customers and using effective questioning and conversational techniques to identify their requirements.
  • Advising customers on the perfect destinations, hotels, golf courses, and added extras (golf carts, rental clubs etc) while stressing the unique selling points of these in relation to their requirements in order to make the sale and upsell where you can.
  • Consistently working to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Speaking with hotel and golf course reservations departments, checking availability and confirming bookings.
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge at all times through ongoing training and personal research
Personal requirements:
  • You will be an enthusiastic sales person with excellent customer service skills, ideally in the hospitality or leisure sectors.
  • You will have an interest in golf and a good knowledge of the sport and various Golf Venues across the USA & Caribbean, and ideally further knowledge of international golf destinations.
  • Previous telephone or face to face sales experience would be preferred but candidates who can evidence a natural flair for; sales, consultative customer support and a passion for golf will also be considered
  • Our team members are confident in their knowledge of golf, and can express that knowledge well either on the phone or by email
  • Target driven, team oriented and self-motivated Sales Specialists thrive in our business - you will enjoy healthy competition and incentives in the workplace to help drive you to exceed targets set
