Job description

The Banquet Captain is responsible for the seamless execution and management of events, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves coordinating with various teams, overseeing event logistics, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage event staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with event planners and clients to understand event requirements and objectives.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place and functional.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
  • Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during events, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations throughout the event.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and enhance future event planning and execution.

Required Education:
