We're seeking a passionate and service-driven Assistant Golf Professional to join our world-class golf club at Loraloma in Spicewood, TX. This role is ideal for a golf professional who thrives in a dynamic, hospitality-focused environment and is eager to contribute across instruction, retail, tournaments, and member experience.


Our golf course, designed by world-renowned architect, David McLay Kidd, is at the heart of this vision. Carved through dramatic Hill Country terrain and overlooking the Pedernales River, the course delivers an extraordinary playing experience and a setting unlike anywhere else in Texas. 


You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional golf programming and creating memorable experiences for members and guests, all while supporting the daily operations of a premier golf destination.


What You’ll Do

Instruction & Player Development

  • Provide individual and group lessons for players of all skill levels.
  • Create engaging, personalized coaching experiences that support player growth.
  • Assist with junior golf programs, clinics, and player development initiatives.

Golf Operations & Retail

  • Support day-to-day golf operations to ensure a seamless experience on and off the course.
  • Assist with golf shop operations, including merchandising, inventory, and maintaining a welcoming retail environment.
  • Help manage practice facilities and ensure course readiness for daily play.

Tournaments & Events

  • Assist in planning and executing tournaments, outings, and special events.
  • Support registration, scoring, and event logistics.

Member & Guest Experience

  • Deliver elevated, personalized service to members and guests.
  • Build strong relationships and foster a warm, inclusive club atmosphere.
  • Proactively anticipate needs and resolve concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Provide recommendations on club offerings, dining, and local experiences.

Team Collaboration & Engagement

  • Partner with golf professionals, staff, and other departments to ensure operational excellence.
  • Support marketing and engagement efforts by promoting programs, events, and offerings.

Requirements:
  • PGA Class A or Associate - minimum Level 2 in good standing.
  • Prior experience in golf operations, instruction, or a professional golf setting.
  • Strong knowledge of golf techniques, rules, and etiquette.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and the game of golf.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
