Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Course in Aurora, CO, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Facility Engineer! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Job SummaryUnder the supervision and direction of the Chief Engineer, this position is responsible for ensuring the overall physical aspects of the clubhouse and facilities to meet the established standards for safety, appearance, and operation, but not limited to, the interior and exterior of the building, plus all other areas related to the day-to-day function of the building and activity of the clubhouse and pools. This position is non-exempt, hourly and reports to the Facility Manager.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Continually inspects property for improvements and takes the necessary approach to correct them.
  • Involved with the preventative maintenance program.
  • Communicates with the Chief Engineer on a day by day basic to track and complete any building or maintenance projects; reports any maintenance work performed in-house to the Chief Engineer on a weekly basis.
  • Performs light electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs; touch up paint, stain and ensure property is well cared for; manages complicated maintenance projects through the Chief Engineer.
  • Inspects and supervises all vendors who work on or maintain building equipment, including the pool equipment, HVAC, boilers, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of building systems including water shut-offs, electrical cut-offs, etc.
  • Maintains cleanliness of common area amenities, including shop and office and all mechanical areas including the pool.
  • Replaces light bulbs as needed in all common areas.
  • Performs other activities as requested by the Chief Engineer, Clubhouse Manager, General Manager or Board of Directors.
  • All other duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • 2 - 3 years of previous experience in Facility Maintenance, Apartment / Multi Family maintenance.
  • Experience with pool and HVAC.
  • Desire to maintain a clean shop and willing to work with all people.

Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Skills and Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Be dependable/reliable and follow through on commitments, producing timely work to required- or higher-standards, and pitching in to get the job completed.
  • Be attentive to detail.
  • Valid drives license.
  • 2 yrs experience in electrical, plumbing, painting and maintenance.
  • Great customer service and organizational attitude.
  • Must be available for weekend, overtime and on-call hours.
