Job description

If you have a passion for golf course maintenance and want to spend your summer working outside at the beach, the Groundskeeper position at Kings Creek Country Club would be the perfect fit for you! As an active member of our team, a Grounds Crew member will assist the superintendent with golf course operations and general maintenance to provide a well-maintained landscape for members and their guests.General Duties and Responsibilities• Providing general assistance and support to the course superintendent.• Maintenance on sand traps and bunkers.• Taking care of course by mowing, watering, landscaping, and sodding.• Assisting with storm and debris clean up and tree work when necessary.• Always follows safety and sanitation policies.• Is polite and friendly to members and fellow team members.Qualifications• Willingness to work in a team environment.• Ability to perform some physical labor to complete tasks of the job.• Remaining punctual and able to report to job from 6:00am - 10:00am throughout the 2025 golf season (starting as soon as possible through late November/early December).Physical Demands and Work Environment• Work is outdoors and includes standing, walking, and operating machinery.• Must be able to work standing for prolonged periods of time.• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.• Requires communicating with other staff members, which includes talking, hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform these major functions.Benefits• Starting salary at $17.00/hour• Complimentary meals.• Team member appreciation events.• Some flexibility in scheduling.• Free golf and Pro Shop discounts.
