Job description

Ed Oliver Golf Club, located in Wilmington, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Pro-Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Continually monitors, implements, and adheres to all company goals, policies, procedures, and controls
  • Assists golf professionals with checking in golfers and maintains a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play
  • Assists with receiving merchandise and adheres to purchase order procedures
  • Assists with the rotation of shop displays
  • Maintains an organized stockroom and assists the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness
  • Assists with pricing of merchandise
  • Assists with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels
  • Performs other duties as requested by the Head Professional
  • Provides service in any and every way, and goes the extra mile to provide the standard of service guests expect

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to waist height
  • Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping
  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Repetitive motion required, including computer entry
  • Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner
  • Normal vision and hearing required
