Reservation Sales& Golf Agent

Summary

The following is a summary of theReservation Sales & Golf Agent job description with specific Key SuccessFactors for which the position will be held accountable for.  Other Key Success Factors and/or duties maybe assigned as necessary.  TheReservation Sales & Golf Agent will ensure that they are implementing training,giving the highest level of customer service to secure bookings, while stayingproductive while using Revinate Best Practices and MB Seaside Resort policiesand procedures.

Key Success Factors

The role requires a sales mindedindividual who posses the skills to sell reservations via inbound and outboundphone calls, emails and online web chats in a positive and professional salesenvironment.  This agent should becourteous, self motivated and detail oriented. Ability to manage sales leads amust. Knowledge of Revinate applications, Maestro, Omni and EzLinks is a plus. 

Responsibilities:

Whileperforming the duties of the job, the Reservation Sales & Golf Agent isexpected to enhance his/her performance by:

1.     Performance:

        ConversionGoals: Meet and exceed conversion goals, striving for a 30% close conversionwithin the first 90 days of employment and consistently surpassing monthlytargets.

        Compliance: Maintain a 98%compliance rate with company policies and procedures to uphold the higheststandards of service and operational efficiency.

        EmailInteraction: Achieve an 85% email gather rate during customer interactions,ensuring comprehensive communication and record-keeping.

        CallRecording Accuracy: Ensure a 99% accuracy rate in call disposition recordingfor precise tracking and analysis of customer interactions.

2.    ReservationHandling & Tasks:

        Manage advance deposits withprecision, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

        Answerinbound reservation sales and golf calls and make outbound reservation sales andgolf calls. 

        Maintain and efficiently managewaitlists to optimize the allocation of available spaces.

        Promptlycomplete ResWave tasks to facilitate smooth operations.

        Confirmreservations through outbound calls, focusing on accuracy and customersatisfaction.

        Utilizeeffective communication skills to address customer inquiries and concerns.

3.    CommunicationManagement:

        Respond promptly to emails andvoicemails, providing comprehensive and helpful information.

        Correspondwith wholesalers and Golf courses effeciently

        Process credit card authorizationforms and check requests with accuracy and adherence to security protocols.

4.    AdministrativeTasks:

        Maintain a clean and orderly officeenvironment to create a positive and organized workspace.

        Adhere to proper lead generationtechniques and follow-up procedures to drive sales and expand the customerbase.

        Evaluatethe waitlist for each property to address vacancies resulting fromcancellations.

        Promptlycomplete show confirmations tasks to facilitate smooth operations.

        Createworksheets for larger groups for ease of all departments

        Verifyworksheets and packages are accurate during routine checks

        Updateand Charge wholesale reservations as scheduled

        Cancelfailed guest desk reservations in a timely manner

        OptimizeRevenue by upselling Barefoot rounds and keeping track of the Barefootspreadsheet daily

        Phones are a requirement when necessary basedon call volume and staffing.

5.    PerformanceExpectations:

        Thesuccessful candidate will consistently meet or exceed performance metrics,ensuring high-quality customer interactions, accurate record-keeping, andcompliance with company policies. A proactive approach to lead generation and acommitment to maintaining a positive and organized office environment areessential.

 

Qualifications:

        Flexibleschedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays to be worked

        Proven experience in a reservationsales or similar role.

        Strong communication andinterpersonal skills.

        Basic Math skills required

        Basicto Excellent Golf knowledge preferred

        Able to operate basic Microsoft andgoogle suite applications with the ability to learn necessary technologies

        Strong communication andinterpersonal skills.

        Abilityto multitask in a fast-paced environment.

        Knowledge of reservation systems andsales best practices.

        Flexibility and adaptability to adynamic work environment.

        Familiaritywith CRM systems and call monitoring tools.
