Job description

Marcus by Goldman Sachs
As the online consumer banking business of Goldman Sachs, Marcus operates as a digital bank, providing high-yield savings accounts and Certificates of Deposit (CDs) directly to individual consumers. Marcus combines Goldman Sachs' over 150 years of expertise with intuitive digital experiences, focusing on value, transparency, and simplicity for its millions of customers, and is recognized as the largest pure online bank, delivering a fully digital experience without physical branches.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure incoming and outgoing wire are completed within service level.
  • Manage Money Movement General Ledgers exceptions and escalations timely.
  • Oversee ACH Exception process flow and Outgoing wire processing. 
  • Address escalated customer inquiries quickly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assess current processes, identify bottlenecks, and trends and propose process improvements.
  • Partner with stakeholders to make improvements and document workflows.
  • Work with leadership to ensure deliverables are provided timely.
  • Prepare detailed communication materials, both presentations and memos, for senior leadership.
  • Proactively resolve potential issues, with escalation as appropriate. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent military experience
  • General understanding of basic money movement process flows
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Accounting or Business Administrative 
  • Prior Back Office Money Movement experience
