Job description

Position Summary

The General Manager oversees overall daily operations, financial performance, employee accountability, and customer service. This role is responsible for proactively identifying issues, driving operational improvements, and ensuring consistent execution across all departments nd service areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor P&L, KPIs, gross margin, billing, commissions, and account performance.
  • Lead employee performance reviews, coaching, and accountability initiatives.
  • Support new customer startups, bids, and quotes.
  • Ensure all customers receive consistent service and attention.
  • Oversee dispatch, warehouse operations, freight accounts, and remote teams.
  • Monitor employee schedules, attendance, and overtime.
  • Ensure audits, reports, and operational tasks are completed on time.
  • Support extended service areas and special programs.

  • Anticipate issues and implement solutions before problems arise.
