Job description

Sourceability® is a global digital distributor of electronic components transforming how modern businesses bring products to market. With innovation, quality and logistics as the backbone of the company, Sourceability's cutting-edge products and services expedite the procurement process across a wide range of industries, including communications/cellular, consumer electronics, and auto manufacturing.
Sourceability is looking for a collaborative Learning & Development Specialist to join our L&D team working from our Austin office on a hybrid basis.
We're excited to welcome a Learning & Development Specialist who is energized by the opportunity to build something meaningful. As a member of Sourceability's L&D team, you'll help shape a growing learning function by bringing structure, creativity, and a learner-focused approach to how employees understand and use our internal tools and systems.
Your primary partner will be the Business Technology Group, where you'll work closely with leaders and subject-matter experts to transform complex knowledge into practical learning solutions that help people feel confident, capable, and ready for what's next. While your primary focus will be with the Business Technology Group, you will also contribute to onboarding, employee development, and broader company learning initiatives.
Insight on your impact:
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to design, develop, and deliver learning initiatives aligned with organizational needs.
  • Serve as a primary L&D partner to the Business Technology Group, gathering information about technical knowledge, skill, and performance needs.
  • Work with subject-matter experts to translate complex systems, processes, and technical concepts into clear and accessible learning content.
  • Design and develop instructor-led training, virtual learning, e-learning modules, demonstrations, job aids, process guides, and other performance-support resources.
  • Deliver engaging learning experiences, adapting content, language, depth, and facilitation style for technical and nontechnical audiences at all organizational levels, from individual contributors to executives.
  • Support learning activities associated with digital adoption platforms, system releases, process changes, and other established business priorities.
  • Contribute to new-hire onboarding, employee development programs, and other company-wide learning initiatives.
  • Review and update learning materials to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with current systems and processes.
  • Publish and maintain assigned courses and resources within the Learning Management System.
  • Coordinate training schedules, enrollment, communications, completion records, and related learning logistics.
  • Gather learner feedback and assessment results to evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Track participation, completion, and learning outcomes and assist with reporting results to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about learning technologies, instructional-design practices, and relevant business and technology developments.

Your qualifications, your influence:
To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, training, education or a related field.
  • Experience developing and delivering learning for systems, tools, processes, or other technical subject matter.
  • Understanding of adult-learning and instructional-design principles.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, practical, and engaging learning experiences.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills in virtual and in-person environments.
  • Experience developing e-learning, job aids, documentation, and other learning materials.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project-coordination skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts and stakeholders across departments.
  • Comfort working with changing systems, priorities, and technical information.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to deliver in-person training on an as-needed basis.

Preferred skills and technical familiarity:
Although not a requirement, it would be great if you had the following skills
  • Familiarity with end-to-end business processes such as order-to-cash and procure-to-pay is preferred.
  • Experience with digital adoption platforms, for example, Whatfix, or other tools used to create in-application guidance and performance support is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and e-learning authoring tools.

Key Competencies:
  • Instructional design
  • Technical knowledge
  • Communication and facilitation
  • Analytical and evaluation skills
