Job description

WTW is an award-winning advisory, broking, and solutions company that supports clients worldwide in transforming risk into opportunities for growth. With a rich insurance heritage dating back to 1828, from the Titanic in 1912 to the Moon Buggy in 1971, WTW brings deep industry expertise and longstanding experience. Our WTW Regional Delivery Center, based in the heart of Lisbon, brings together a strong global team of more than 400 colleagues who deliver operational excellence every day through innovation and streamlined, efficient solutions.

The AI Champion Lead plays a vital role in extending AI capabilities throughout WTW by building the human networks and grassroots momentum needed for lasting adoption. This individual helps cultivate business-aligned AI Champion networks, shapes practical learning approaches that local champions can adapt, and supports the tailoring of communications, training, and community engagement to the roles, workflows, and priorities of each business. Working closely with the AI Enablement Leader, the AI Champion Lead keeps key information, processes, and best practices flowing across the network while gathering feedback from champions and colleagues to improve enablement programs and translate AI tools into practical, day-to-day value across the enterprise.

The Role

  • Build and support business-aligned AI Champion networks that connect enterprise AI priorities to local roles, workflows, and business needs.
  • Equip local champions with practical resources, talking points, training materials, and engagement approaches they can adapt for their teams.
  • Tailor enablement activities so colleagues can build confidence using AI tools in ways that are relevant to their work.
  • Partner with the AI Enablement Leader to keep guidance, processes, and best practices flowing consistently across the champion community.
  • Gather feedback from champions, colleagues, and stakeholders to identify adoption barriers and improve enablement programs.
  • Support AI communities of practice by curating content, facilitating discussion, and encouraging practical sharing across WTW.
  • Track adoption signals, champion network health, and enablement outcomes to inform priorities and strengthen everyday AI value.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, education, business, information technology, or a related field.

  • Experience in learning & development, change management, community management, or technology enablement roles.

  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools (such as Copilot, Claude, or similar) and enthusiasm for exploring new capabilities.

  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to influence and energize colleagues at all levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to make complex topics accessible and engaging.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.

  • Experience building or participating in communities of practice, ambassador programs, or champion networks is a plus.

  • Creative mindset with a track record of developing novel approaches to learning or engagement.

  • Collaborative and self-motivated, comfortable working with limited direct authority.
