Job description

Job Title: Corporate Controller

Overview:
A fast-growing organization is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function through ongoing expansion. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will oversee domestic and international teams, strengthen controls, improve global processes, and modernize the accounting organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all global accounting activities, including general ledger oversight, financial reporting, operational accounting cycles, and controls.
  • Manage consolidation of international subsidiaries and multi-currency financials.
  • Oversee month-end close processes and drive efficiency and optimization.
  • Coordinate year-end audit activities.
  • Develop, coach, and elevate the global accounting team; upgrade talent where needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and other business units.
  • Strengthen internal controls and establish best practices across global locations.
  • Drive automation, system improvements, and process efficiencies.
  • Support strategic initiatives, key partnerships, and special projects aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience working in or with multi-national organizations (foreign subsidiaries, consolidations, transfer pricing).
  • Manufacturing or inventory exposure preferred; cost accounting familiarity is a plus.
  • Public accounting background strongly preferred; CPA ideal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and motivate teams.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to deliver clear, concise reporting.
  • Proven track record improving processes, strengthening controls, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with accountability for accuracy and transparency.
  • Experience with modern ERP systems

PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $180,000 – $225,000 base, plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by the hiring authority and may vary depending on qualifications and other factors relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
