Pittsburgh Glass Works, LLC. is seeking a dynamic and motivated Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for our Tipton, PA location.
Pittsburgh Glass Works (PGW), a proud subsidiary of Vitro Automotive, is one of the world's premier providers of cutting-edge automotive glass solutions. Our Tipton, PA facility is home to advanced manufacturing where we produce high-quality side and rear windows for some of the biggest names in the industry-including GM, Ford, Toyota, and many more!
Nestled in the scenic mountains of central Pennsylvania, Tipton offers the perfect mix of small-town charm and easy access to major destinations-just 45 minutes from State College and 2 hours east of Pittsburgh.

The EHS Manager is the technical expert and primary resource for environmental, health, and safety and a key member of the EHS function for Vitro Automotive to positively impact business practices, behaviors, culture, results, and costs.
Responsibilities:
  • Support and lead remote and in-person meetings to establish and address tasks, targets, goals, and actions as part of standard work.
  • Support and lead assessments, investigations, audits, data gathering, data analysis and interpretation, address actions, and communicate or present results and reports.
  • Review, update, and create procedures, programs, and work-related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Vitro standards, industry standards, customer requirements, ISO 14001 EMS Standard, and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Directly engage, train, coach, and support personnel to address and drive positive EHS behaviors, culture, and results.
  • Manage all tasks, actions, and projects advanced or assigned to the role.
  • Monitor, manage, communicate, and report on key indicators and metrics.
  • Ensure sustained compliance with Vitro standards, customer requirements, and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with plant leadership, corporate, and work's compensation insurance case managers to address work-related injuries.
  • Manages Emergency Response Team (regular meetings and trainings for members)
  • Act as liaison for Security Guard Contractor service.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Safety Science, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety, or similar degree.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in EHS in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience with ISO 14001
