Job description

Daytona Glass Works, LLC. is a technical quartz company that has been in business in the Daytona Beach area since 1999. We are an extremely family oriented company and genuinely care about all of our employees and their families. We are currently accepting applications for Production Technician in our manufacturing facility. Most positions have the potential to become permanent, depending on individual performance. This is an entry level position. Experience is a plus, but not required. For it's full-time employees, Daytona Glass Works offers a 4 day/40 hour work week, competitive compensation rates, PTO accrual from day one (2 weeks of PTO accrual in year one), and one of the most generous benefits packages you'll find in the manufacturing industry, including:

Essential Functions and Physical Requirements


  • Operate various types of machinery, equipment and tools including but not limited to lathes, wet saws, centerless grinders, various types of sanders, hydrogen torches, basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and read basic print specifications.
  • Maintains a clean work environment to prevent accidents and contamination of parts.
  • Performs various miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.
  • Sit or Stand for more than 50% of the time depending on station

  • Remain stationary for more than 50% of the time

  • Perform repetitive tasks

  • Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance

  • Visually observe, inspect, and detect parts for discrepancies

  • Work with potentially hazardous chemicals

  • Work in a hot shop environment where temperatures can commonly exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
