Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake Village is looking to add a full time GI Tech!
 
Welcome to Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake Village 
As a GI Tech you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment. GI Scope Tech at Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake Village
Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Prepares equipment and anticipates Physician and patient needs for GI procedures. Provides general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment. Assessing patients prior to procedure. Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area. Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • Current BLS required
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to healthcare
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly
  • Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment
  • Must be able to function as a team player
  • Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
