Travel Surgical Tech – OR

Location: Vero Beach, FL
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Pay Rate: $1,000–$1,260/Week (Based on Experience)
Position Type: Travel Only
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week for 3x12s | 40 hrs/week for 8/10s

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Tech to support the Main Operating Room. The ideal candidate must have strong Neuro experience and be comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with surgical procedures in the Main OR.
  • Support General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, Vascular, Plastics, GYN, Urology, and Robotics.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain sterile technique and assist the surgical team during procedures.
  • Float within scope of practice and to sister facilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 months of experience required; 2+ years preferred.
  • Strong Neuro surgical experience required.
  • BLS (AHA) required.
  • NBSTSA/NCCT certification preferred.
  • First-time travelers accepted.
  • On-call and weekend requirements will be discussed during the interview.
  • Active Florida license required; pending licenses not accepted.
  • All RTO must be submitted upfront.
  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • Smoke-free facility; nicotine screening required.
  • Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly after confirmation.
