Job Description
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician
Profession: Surgical Technician

Experience: 2 years minimum, 4 years preferred
License: BLS required
Certifications: BLS required
Must-Have: Advanced knowledge of neuroanatomy and specialized instrumentation
Description:
This position requires 40 weekly hours.
On-call requirement consists of 10-12 call shifts per month.
Weekend requirements involve call shifts only.
Holiday requirements include any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience, with 4+ years preferred.
The role demands advanced knowledge of neuroanatomy and specialized instrumentation.
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as LITT systems, GammaTile implantation, stereotactic navigation, and DBS equipment is essential.
High-level anticipation skills are necessary during complex cranial cases.
Strong team coordination is critical for patient safety during lengthy and high-risk procedures.
The procedure scope includes transsphenoidal pituitary surgery, Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy, GammaTile brachytherapy implantation, and Deep Brain Stimulation.
Additional procedures may include various complex cranial and spine surgeries.
