Job description

Title: Neuro Surgical Sales Representative

Territory: Greater Sacramento Area, 2 hour radius, some overnights required.

Company: Global industry leader and manufacturer of advanced technologies for neuro, spine, and general surgery used in the OR.

Responsibilities:

Represent and promote a full portfolio of specialty neuro-surgical devices and equipment. Responsible for contributing to the Company's strategic objectives of revenue growth, market leadership and quality customer service through the sale of assigned products to targeted accounts, and the development of new customers in assigned territory. Aids in exceeding established territory and regional sales objectives.

  • Sell to and service all Hospital operating rooms in assigned territory, working closely with surgical suite, surgeons, value analysis committees, IDN/GPO contracts, and internal business partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key distribution partners within the territory.
  • Drive new business development to proactively grow revenue within assigned territory.
  • Call on key call points at the end user customer (materials management, nursing, pharmacy, administration, etc.) in all existing and new opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations providing solutions to potential customers.
  • Compare competitive proposals and offer solutions to customers.
  • Coordinate product evaluations and implementations for clinical staff.
  • Assist peers with product evaluations and conversions.
  • Communicate comprehensive and efficient sales reports to management as directed.
  • Maintain weekly expense reports.
  • Prepare territory forecasts to goal attainment.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, call documentation, and written correspondence.
  • Attends training sessions as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
  • Maintain credentialing within assigned accounts.
  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual.
  • Must embody the Company's Vision, Mission and Values.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 + years outside sales experience with medical products - surgical products a plus
  • Valid driver's license and registration.
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory and as needed for corporate meetings/trainings. (NOT ON CALL & NOT CASE COVERAGE)

Compensation:

$90-105k Base + Uncapped Commission, $195k first year (existing business on day 1), top performers earn over $200k.
