Marketing Product Manager - Digital Growth & AI Innovation:
The U.S. Personal Bank delivers a wide array of banking, payments, lending and investment services to individual consumers and small businesses. Marketing & Franchise Development is focused on accelerating digital sales transformation and driving the next generation of customer acquisition, engagement, and growth. The team is responsible for evolving Citi's pre- and post-login digital experiences through innovative marketing capabilities, data-driven personalization, emerging technologies, and AI-driven solutions that improve the quality and value of digitally sourced customer relationships. The Marketing Product Manager - Digital Growth & AI Innovation will lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of digital growth capabilities, including both AI-powered and traditional digital solutions. This role requires a strategic product leader who can identify high-impact opportunities, drive cross-functional execution, and partner across Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, Data Science, Risk, and Operations to deliver scalable innovation and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Drive new digital products and strategies to ensure the Digital Sales and Acquisitions scorecards are delivered.
  • Collaborate with business partners to determine growth or efficiency opportunities in our acquisition and post login channels that can be improved through digital innovation or new capabilities
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Marketing teams to design, develop, test, and scale new capabilities and AI-enabled products and experiences.
  • Bring relevant competitive & industry perspectives, insights and ideas to inform strategic roadmap, as well as identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and LLM technologies to improve customer acquisition, conversion, engagement, servicing, and operational efficiency.
  • Inform outer year roadmaps for continued growth for key strategic capabilities and establish a forward-looking vision for Generative AI and intelligent digital experiences, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and responsible AI principles.
  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI-powered marketing, acquisition, personalization, and customer engagement capabilities, including Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions.
  • Define business requirements, success metrics, governance frameworks, and measurement strategies for new and AI and LLM-driven capabilities.
  • Drive experimentation and optimization through A/B testing, model performance monitoring, prompt engineering, personalization strategies, and continuous improvement practices.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the organization's AI and Generative AI product strategy. This includes identifying high-value use cases, building AI-enabled customer experiences, leveraging LLM technologies to improve acquisition and engagement outcomes, and ensuring solutions are scalable, measurable, compliant, and aligned with Citi's responsible AI standards.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in digital product management, marketing technology, financial services, fintech, or related industries, with demonstrated experience leading AI, machine learning, and/or Generative AI product initiatives.
  • Proven experience developing and managing product roadmaps for AI-powered products, personalization platforms, intelligent decisioning systems, conversational AI, or LLM-based applications.
  • Deep consumer banking product knowledge and demonstrated ability to assess technology trends, vendor solutions, and market developments to inform strategic investment decisions and future product roadmaps.
  • Strong analytical, technical, financial, and business acumen with the ability to communicate complex concepts to senior business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Experience translating business opportunities and challenges into AI and other product solutions and partnering with data scientists and engineers to deliver production-ready capabilities.
  • Experience in delivery of large, complex projects / programs of diverse size in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to orchestrate a multi-workstream program from inception to delivery providing support, strategic direction or technical expertise to the project team across multiple disciplines and geographies.
  • Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI technologies, prompt engineering, AI evaluation frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and emerging AI ecosystem capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, think laterally and manage multiple issues under the pressure of conflicting constraints and limited resources. Perform and articulate cost / benefit / risk analysis.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred
  • Master's degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in Product Management, Agile methodologies, Digital Marketing, Analytics, Cloud Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI are a plus.
