Our company is seeking a skilled General Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with general assembly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble wood parts and upholstery using a staple gun
- Work with polyfoam to create comfortable and durable products
- Follow assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure quality products
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with general assembly
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Uses air powered frame gun to put wood parts together to build a furniture frame (or parts of a frame) and/or attach padding and upholstery to a finished wooden frame.
  • Reads instruction and production sheets to complete daily production goals.
  • Operates and maintains air powered frame and/or nail guns.
  • Works in accordance with Company Safety practices
  • Maintains neat and clean work area.
  • Follows all quality standards and inspection requirements.
  • Regular attendance and compliance with all work schedules.
  • All other duties as assigned.
