What you’ll do:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on generators
  • Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators
  • Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
  • Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators
  • When necessary, provide after-hour emergency troubleshooting/repairs
  • Work independently or with a small crew

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years working on generators in the residential or commercial setting
  • Air/liquid cooled certificate is preferred. (Generac, Kohler, Briggs and Stratton, Cummins, etc..)
  • Small engine repairs
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Valid driver’s license
