Current Electric/Advanced Energy Systems has been in business for over 40 years. We have been a licensed dealer with Generac for 27 years and are one of their largest dealers in the area.

We are looking for our next rockstar Generator Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Generator Technician to service and repair automatic standby generators.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical generator failures.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, system testing, and oil/filter changes.
  • Ensure all field installations comply with local safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate digital service records, work orders, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience servicing and repairing small engines.
  • 1+ years of experience with maintaining and servicing back up generators.
  • Ability to use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and work overtime when needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
